| Students may go alone
(independently) or as part of a small group. Friends may
attend together.
All Levels are Accepted:
Absolute Beginner to Native Speaker*.
It is not about what you already know,
but about what you want to learn. *Native Speakers who need
to improve grammar skills are welcome.
These programs are either Homestays
or Residence Halls.
All language programs are very intensive.
The lessons include grammar, conversation, reading and writing skills.
Emphasis is usually on conversation.
Small Classes. All instructors
are college graduates and are experienced language teachers and
enjoy teaching younger students. The teachers provide assistance
and guidance after class as well when necessary. Students enjoy
the lessons and cultural and social activities. They are expected
to attend all classes, do homework when required, and make the effort
to communicate with native speakers and to adapt to a different
culture.
All programs have very complete Cultural
Programs. The Cultural Programs are a combination of Excursions,
Special Events, and Cultural Activities, both on-site and in the
area.
All activities, social
and cultural, are geared to specific age groups.

Our programs for Teens are for the student who:
- wants to advance in the language
or improve skills for AP classes;
- needs to improve language
skills and may pick up the language more quickly in an immersion
program or with a good teacher;
- has problems with learning
a foreign language in the traditional classroom situation;
- wants to start a language
not offered in his/her school;
- wants to experience another culture;
- loves languages.

A program that accepts 12 to 19 year olds will divide the
age groups and offer activities
that are age appropriate.
